Our AML and Verification Policy

We hold Curaçao licence OGL/2023/174/0098, and that licence obliges us to verify every player and monitor every transaction. This page sets out exactly when we verify you, which documents we ask for, and what happens if verification is not completed.

Our AML Licence Commitments

Slotsmines Casino operates under licence OGL/2023/174/0098 issued by the Curaçao gambling authority, and anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing obligations sit at the centre of that licence. We maintain a written AML programme covering customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting and staff training, and we review it annually against the FATF recommendations adopted in our licence jurisdiction.

Our Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) owns this programme. If our monitoring identifies activity we reasonably suspect to be linked to money laundering, terrorist financing or other criminal conduct, we are required to report it to the relevant authorities and we may be legally prevented from telling you that a report was made.

We do not accept deposits or wagers from players located in restricted countries, including the USA, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Russia. Attempting to play from a restricted jurisdiction through a VPN or false location data is treated as a material breach of our terms.

When We Verify Your Identity

Verification triggers

We verify your identity at three points: at registration (basic data checks against your submitted details), before your first withdrawal (full document verification), and at any point where thresholds or risk indicators require enhanced checks. You can complete full verification earlier, and we encourage it so withdrawals are never delayed.

Most players will pass basic registration checks automatically. If your details cannot be matched against electronic databases, we will ask for documents before you can deposit.

  • Government-issued photo ID: passport, national ID card or driver's licence, valid and unexpired
  • Proof of address: a utility bill, bank statement or official government letter dated within the last 3 months
  • Proof of payment method ownership: a card photo showing the first 6 and last 4 digits, or a screenshot of your e-wallet or crypto wallet showing your registered name or account

How Verification Works

Documents are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled servers. Only authorised compliance staff can view them, and we never share your verification documents with third parties except where law or our licence requires it.

  • Step 1: Upload documents through the secure verification tab in your account profile, or send them via email if you prefer.
  • Step 2: Our compliance team checks each document for validity, legibility and consistency with your registered details.
  • Step 3: We may ask a follow-up question or request a second document if anything is unclear.
  • Step 4: You receive written confirmation once verification is complete, and your withdrawal limits are unlocked.
